Wee Wish Fae Scotland Wish Bracelet

This wee bracelet makes a perfect fun little Scottish gift to send to a friend, colleague or family member.

The text on the card reads :

Claise yer een ‘n’ mak’ a wish as ye tie yer bracelet oan yer wrist When yer bracelet wears away your wish wull be oan tis wey

(Please note the text on the card uses Scottish Brogue and is not spelled incorrectly).

The idea behind a wish bracelet is that the wearer makes a wish while tying it on. As the bracelet is worn over time, it gradually wears down and eventually breaks. When the bracelet breaks, it is believed the wish comes true.

A wish bracelet represents hope, dreams, and positive intentions for the future. The simplicity of the bracelet is part of its charm, emphasising the power of the wish and the personal significance it holds for the wearer.

The bracelet is handmade using eco friendly hemp cord and a thistle charm. The hemp cord is 1mm thick and approximately 30 cm in length. Once tied on your wrist any excess cord can be cut off.

The bracelet is presented on a postcard sized (A6) recycled card. A recycled envelope is also included.
